Elizabeth’s journey with Spokane HOPE began while she was earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Eastern Washington University. During that time, she volunteered weekly with the toddler group and in the preschool classroom—an experience that sparked her passion for working with children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Elizabeth went on to earn a Master of Science in Deaf Education from Washington University in St. Louis in 2020. Since then, she has worked in a variety of educational settings, gaining valuable experience supporting children and families along their communication journeys.
Deeply aligned with Spokane HOPE’s mission, Elizabeth returned to the organization to focus on early intervention—helping babies and families in the critical early years following a hearing loss diagnosis build the foundation for listening, spoken language, and lifelong connection.
