Kristi has a Bachelor of Science in speech and hearing sciences as well as a Master of Science in speech-language pathology both earned from the University of Washington. Kristi’s career has included practicing as a speech-language pathologist with children and adults, teaching college courses, and directing a preschool. Kristi has a passion for helping children grow in confidence, academics, and especially in their speech and language skills. Through her creativity and research-based perspective, she designs listening and spoken-language-rich activities that also target a wide spectrum of developmental skills (including math, science, art, reading, dramatic play, and fine motor skills).
Kristi and her family, being new to the Spokane area, enjoy exploring and discovering new restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and bookstores around town. New favorite places include Green Bluff, Manito Park, and the Riverfront.
